Another Dallas tower project is closing in on the finish line. Lincoln Property Co. has topped out its 25-story 1900 Pearl office project under construction in the Dallas Arts District at Pearl Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway. The 260,000-square-foot high-rise next to the Myerson Symphony Center is being built in partnership with Goldman Sachs & Co.
Lincoln Property plans to complete the building later this year. The developer has scheduled a May 11 ceremony to mark the completion of the final floor of the tower.
Architect HKS designed the 1900 Pearl building.
Chicago-based Baker McKenzie is renting 50,000 square feet in the new tower. The law firm will move its long time office from the Trammell Crow Center on Ross Avenue to the new building near Klyde Warren Park in late 2017.
Both 1900 Pearl and the Park District office tower across Klyde Warren Park are opening later this year. The $300 million Union office, retail and apartment tower complex under construction at Cedar Springs Road and Akard Street won’t be finished until next year.
