An Illinois investor has bought a Collin County shopping center.

InvenTrust Properties purchased the Shoppes at Fairview, a retail center just east of U.S. Highway 75 in Fairview.

The 67,528-square-foot center is anchored by a Whole Foods Market and was sold by Lincoln Property Co.

Lincoln Property bought the much larger, adjoining Fairview Town Center mixed-use development in 2017 and gave it a major makeover.

Built in 2011, the shopping center at 105 Stacy Road that just sold was expanded as part of Lincoln Properties’ upgrades to the area. Its tenants include Capital One, Sleep Number and Jos. A. Bank.

JLL Capital Markets team Chris Gerard, Barry Brown and Ryan Shore brokered the sale.

New owner InvenTrust Properties, which has a regional office in Addison, already has eight properties in North Texas, including Prestonwood Town Center in Far North Dallas and Riverwalk Market in Flower Mound.
